Heart Saver CPR AED
Learn CPR and AED skills that save lives-be ready to act when seconds count.
Service Description
The Heartsaver® CPR AED course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who wants to be prepared to act in the event of a cardiac emergency. Sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time. In those critical moments, immediate action with effective CPR and rapid AED use can double or even triple a person’s chance of survival. This course equips participants with the knowledge, confidence, and hands-on skills needed to recognize an emergency, provide high-quality CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) until professional help arrives. Through a combination of instructor-led teaching, realistic practice scenarios, and skills demonstrations, students will learn how to respond quickly and effectively in both adult and child emergencies. The course emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and practical application so learners feel ready to act in real-world situations. By the end of this course, participants will be able to: Recognize the signs of sudden cardiac arrest in adults and children. Perform high-quality chest compressions and rescue breaths. Safely and confidently operate an AED. Provide effective care as a solo rescuer or as part of a team. Understand the importance of early CPR and defibrillation in the chain of survival. The Heartsaver CPR AED certification is ideal for teachers, coaches, childcare providers, fitness professionals, security staff, workplace employees, and anyone in the community who wants to be prepared to save a life. Certification is valid for two years through the American Heart Association (AHA). With step-by-step guidance and plenty of practice time, this course ensures that every student leaves not only with a certification card but also with the confidence to act when every second counts.
