BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS

This course teaches employees how to protect themselves and others from exposure to bloodborne pathogens in the workplace. HANDS-ONLY CPR

How long are the certifications valid?
Which CPR class do I need?

  • Healthcare providers (nurses, EMT's, CNA's, dental/medical staff): Take BLS for Healthcare Providers.

​

  • ​Teachers, coaches, fitness instructors, workplaces: Take HeartSaver CPR, AED or HeartSaver First Aid, CPR, AED.

​

  • Childcare providers, foster, adoptive parents, schools for young children: Take HeartSaver Pediatric First Aid, CPR, AED. 

​

  • Community/family members who just want to learn basics: Take Family & Friends CPR or Hands-Only CPR.

Do I get a certification card the same day?

  • Yes - students who pass receive an AHA eCard (digital certification card) by email, typically within 24 hours.​

What should I bring to class?

  • A valid photo ID

​

  • Comfortable clothes for practicing CPR on the floor

​

  • Any required book/materials (depending on the course)

       We provide all manikins, AED trainers,            and barrier devices.

  • BLS and all HeartSaver certifications: 2 years

​

  • Bloodborne Pathogens certificate: 1 year​

​

  • Family & Friends CPR/Hands-Only CPR: Awareness only - no certification card issued.​​

Where are the classes held?

  • Public classes are offered regularly in Kenosha, WI.

​

  • Private group sessions can be scheduled at your location (schools, childcare centers, workplaces, gyms, etc.)​​

Do you travel for group training?

  • Yes - we provide on-site training throughout Kenosha and Southeastern Wisconsin. Travel fees may apply for locations outside this area.
